The Terms and Conditions of Business will be supplied to all persons on receipt of the course application and the issue of a 'Booking Letter'.

a.        DenMed will refer to the customer as the client and the consumer of training as the candidate.  Where this may be one of the same the term client will be adopted.

b.        DenMed will provide the candidate with all course and contract details prior to commencement.

c.        Once a format has been agreed between DenMed and the client/candidate then DenMed cannot accept any responsibility or liability if the client or candidate detracts from the format.

d.        DenMed cannot accept responsibility or liability if the client/candidate fails to complete the course as a consequence of an effect or omission on the part of the client/candidate. Therefore, the candidate must ensure they are able to meet the requirements of the course as contracted  prior to commencing.

e.        DenMed offers no facility for a refund once payment has been made, if a candidate is unable to attend a course that has been booked, 48 hours  notice must be given, failure to notify DenMed will incur an administration fee.  Where the contract is with an organisation 14 days notice must be given if a course is not being held, less than 14 days notice will incur a fee that is equivalent to the minimum delegate numbers or a day course fee (this will have been determined in the original contract).

f.        Where course fees are being paid by the individual candidate these must be paid in full prior to the course commencing.  Where course fees are being paid by an organisation an invoice will be submitted immediately after the course has taken place.

g.        DenMed aims to meet the needs of the client/candidate at all times and will make every attempt to do so.   In the event of a course being postponed due to unforeseen circumstances the candidate will be offered an alternative date/s and or venue.

h.        DenMed strives to ensure equality within all its activities; therefore, candidates with individual needs will be given additional support, guidance, training and encouragement to achieve equality of opportunity. If a candidate/client has an individual, learning, mobility or sensory need, please contact us prior to the course commencing.

i.        DenMed will inform the candidate of the possible course of action if the candidate feels they have been treated unfairly at any time during the period of training.

j.        Where the candidate/client is receiving funding from an external body the individual practice expense is non-reimbursable from any source.

k.        Where the course involves the taking of an awarding body examination/assessment and the candidate fails to achieve the required standard, one resit will be offered free of charge, a second resit and any further resits will be charged at £15.00 per examination/assessment paper per candidate.
